Character Bio
Ben Is a 18 year old man with short brown hair and about 6 foot tall.

He is a very nice person who would not harm anyone especially his friends. Many people see him as a shy person but to the people who know him well know he is not shy at all. He enjoys going out with friends, writing music and riding his motorbike.

Ben is an only child to parents Joan and Greg. He lives with his parents in their house in Geelong and he attends Geelong High. He is currently in year 12 and hopes to become a Police officer when he finishes. He works at a local pub with his best mate Ryan. He has known Ryan his whole life and he is like a brother to Ben

7 Step Outline

Ordinary World:
Ben is a normal 18 year old. His end of year 12 exams are coming up and he is working twice a week at the pub. He studies at home with his best friend Ryan and their other friend Claire. Ryan’s 18th Birthday is approaching and they discuss going out for it. They decide it will be the last time they go out until school finishes.

The Inciting Incident
It is Ryan’s 18th birthday, it is a rainy cold night and they are preparing to go out. Ben rides his new motorbike over to Ryan’s house. Ryan loves his new bike and he wants to go for a ride on it with Ben to start off the night. Ben has already had 1 beer and doesn’t want to risk it. But Ryan insists and others encourage Ben to take him saying “you will be fine” so he takes him. The roads are wet Ben looses control and smashes into a wall at a high speed Ryan is killed on impact and Ben suffers extreme head injuries. Ben is rushed to hospital and is induced in to a coma.

Act 1 – Turning Point
It is 1 month on and Ben comes out of his coma. Ben is suffering from post-traumatic amnesia and cannot remember anything that happened. He is told he could be facing jail time for what he has done. Ryan’s parents visit him in hospital and tell him they forgive him for what he has done and if it were up to them they would not press charges.

Mid Point
Ben is going through rehabilitation so he can walk again and he is told he will be likely to be permanently affected by the injuries he sustained. Ben loses he amnesia and becomes very depressed.

Turning Point
Ben is ready to leave hospital he can now walk short distances with no aid. He is sent home and 1 week later police officers deliver his summons to court.

Climax
Bens day in court comes and when Ben is called forward he opens his heart and explains how hard his life has been since the accident and the punishment he has already had to go through physically and mentally. The jury sympathizes for Ben and he is awarded not guilty and is a free man.

Resolution
It has now been 6 months since the accident and Ben still terribly misses Ryan. Ben visits Ryan’s grave where he finds Ryan’s parents Ben breaks down and Ryan’s parents comfort him, they say “its ok” and “we forgive you”. But Ben knows he will have to live with this for the rest of his life. The movie finishes on an emotional scene with Ben and Ryan’s parents at Ryan’s tombstone.

1. The Setup

Set in suburban America modern times. The protagonist, Donnie, wakes up in middle on the road doesn’t know how he got there, he has stoped talking his proscribed medication which shows he has psychological problems.

1. The Inciting Incident

Protagonist starts sleep walking through his house and he hears a voice he follows that voice to a golf corse where he sees a strange character. The character tells him the world will end in 28 days 6 hours 42 minutes and 12 seconds. He awakes at golf course walks home to find a piece of a plane has landed in the room, which would have killed him.

1. Act 1 – Turning Point

Donnie sleep walks again and strange character is seen again. He vandalises his school in his sleep as if this character possessed him to do it. There is no school the next day because of the damage done and as he is walking home from bus stop he sees the girl he likes being hassled and he rescues her. He walks her home and asks her out.

1. Mid Point

He asks about time travel at school and the teacher gives him a book written by a strange old lady that lives in their town. One night at home he has a peculiar experience where he can see paths in front of people he follows his path to his parents room and he finds a gun. The experience is explained in the old lady’s book.

1. Act 2

The strange character revels him self in a movie theatre, he is an unknown person to the protagonist. The character tells him to “burn it to the ground” he sets alight to a motivational speakers office.

1. Act 3

His phycologist hypnotises him and he confronts the strange character that has been making his perform bad deeds.

1. Resolution or Denouement

He throws a Halloween party at his house and the time of the world ending that was given to him at the start is drawing near. He takes his girlfriend and two friends to a creepy cellar and they are attacked. A car runs over his girlfriend and kills her. The driver gets out and it is the creepy character that has been possessing him. Donnie shoots him.
